[PCBH] Setting the Record Straight! - The 30th Anniversary of Prisoner!!

Just to quash all rumours and really set the record straight ..

I have finally given in to hundreds of requests to “do something” for the
30th Anniversary of Prisoner going to air.

I am pleased to announce, there WILL be an event on Sunday February 22nd
2009, at Global Television Studios Nunawading, Melbourne, (the studios
where the show was actually shot). This time it will be on the lawns in
the shadow of the wall of cell windows. Commencing at 2:00pm and ending at
7:00pm. Entry will be $200.00 per head and include a Gourmet BBQ, Red &
White Wine, Champagne, Beer and Soft Drinks, mingling with the stars of
your favourite show, and the chance to win a substantial door prize.

Vegetarians and other dietary needs will be catered for.

In order to control gate crashers, entry will be by pre-paid numbered
ticket only. These must be booked and paid for well in advance, through an
address to be notified.

Only 300 tickets will be available.

The door prize will be drawn on the day.

A professional photographer (my daughter Cassandra Schultz MVA, who played
'Bea’s' tragic daughter 'Debbie') will be in attendance. If you wish to
order a shot with your favourite star, there will be a charge of $15.00
for each shot which will include postage.

All autographs will cost you $2.00 a time. Proceeds from photos and
autographs will go to Positive Women.

Jane Clifton will be our MC.

As it’s a celebration of the ‘First’ Episode, every cast, crew, and
production team member from the first episode will be invited. Some of
them are no longer with us, others will possibly decline. However I
already have a promise of attendance (subject to professional commitments)
from Colette Mann, definite acceptance from Fiona Spence, Carol Burns,
Kirsty Child, Will Duemer and many more to come. There will also be some
favourite special guests, so far committed Betty Bobbitt, Jentah Sobbot,
Sigrid Thornton, Amanda Muggleton,.. This list will grow.

Because February is a VERY popular month for weddings, and all sorts of
other events, and on this occasion I have to book marquees, and outside
caterers, to ensure we don’t miss out on the best, all tickets sales must
be finalised by July 18th 2008.

If the bookings are not filled by that time the event will not happen.
Refunds will only be made if, for whatever reasons, the event is
cancelled.

No refunds can be made if the purchaser cannot attend. However tickets are
transferable.
